Santa Ana, CA, May 5, 2014 — Agility Fuel Systems, the leading designer and producer of alternative fuel storage and delivery systems for heavy duty trucks and buses, announced today at the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo the launch of their latest product innovation: a 155 DGE Behind the Cab Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel system. The new product delivers the best packaging of any CNG system in the industry utilizing four 26”x80” cylinders, weighing only 2,550 pounds and requiring only 31 ¼ inches of valuable frame rail space. Depending on the application, this system will be able to deliver a range of approximately 600 miles before refueling, and establishes it as the industry’s best DGE per inch of frame rail. Besides its outstanding capacity as a stand-alone system, it can be packaged with up 120 DGE of side mounted systems for a whopping 275 DGE, delivering an unparalleled driving range in excess of 1,100 miles.

Agility Opens new Headquarters and
Manufacturing / R&D facility in Santa Ana, California

Our company has recently opened a new facility of 29,500 square feet located in Orange County, CA. The Santa Ana facility will house Agility’s corporate headquarters and assemble natural gas fuel systems for OEM heavy truck customers like Freightliner, Navistar, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Volvo, as well as bus OEMs like Gillig. Production will begin in the second quarter of this year. The company’s R&D engineers, who develop our industry leading products and technologies, will also be based in the new facility.
